it is always "Open Device Fail! Please check the password and device address!". now after that i also tried a simple "enroll" sample code from Adafruit Github Fingerprint Library, i uploaded it to my both Arduino Uno, and it works, i can enroll and match.īut the SFG Demo is NOT working.i wonder what should i do to work it. again my com is COM8 and i even try my other arduino and usb port(COM 6) also error. now this is where the problem comes in-there is an error that i should check the device address. Connect to any microcontroller or system with TTL serial, and send packets of data to take photos, detect prints, hash and search. but it is starting to get lag for 2-3seconds then a pop up "Open Device Fail! please check the password and device address!". If you chose fingerprint & password option, then ask your employee to put their finger on the sensor 3 times and then enter a password. in the first tutorial, i should first upload a Blank Sketch, then open SFG Demo software, then click Open Device and find the correct COM.which in my case is COM8.
Scenario: According to a Udemy Lesson, i can use SFG Demo and use Arduino Uno to enroll a fingerprint with R307.
